Brand Identity + Print Design

Studio Floor

A collaboration between designers Christopher McEvoy and Siobhan McKenna, Studio Floor is: “A creative conversation between two studio floors, recycling each other’s waste to create new objects with purpose and value.” The project, funded by Creative Scotland and The National Lottery, will see a collection exhibited next year by the designers, panel discussions and workshops centred around the themes or sustainability, innovation and collaboration.

Creating a memorable and instantly recognisable visual identity was really important for SF's launch, in order to establish a presence online. The shapes and frames used throughout the brand identity are inspired by the textile waste that each artist is using and piecing together. The shapes create a flexible and adaptable identity system, and help illustrate the project's key themes of sustainability through connection and collaboration.

Kind words

"Ele studio did a fantastic job at realising our vision and helping us creating a strong band image. That is not only as good as what we had imagined but is better."
